Terms of Service

WeiChen Studio provides online digital painting courses, live teaching, artwork feedback, the Growth Plan, and membership subscriptions. We may add, adjust, or retire features and course content from time to time.

Some services require an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your account and password safe, and for all activity under your account.

• Do not transfer, lend, or share your account with others.
• Notify us immediately if your account is compromised.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in violations or abnormal use.

Some courses and membership plans are paid content. Subscriptions renew automatically on the cycle you choose (monthly/yearly); you can cancel anytime in the member center and keep access until the end of the current period.

• The actual price, cycle, and contents are as shown on the purchase page.
• We may adjust plan pricing, with reasonable notice before changes take effect.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment providers.

After purchasing a course or activating a subscription, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to watch the course content for personal learning during the valid period.

Without written consent, you may not download, record, reproduce, distribute, resell, or publicly broadcast course content, nor use it for commercial teaching.

Course videos, materials, handouts and live replays are copyrighted by WeiChen Studio and the instructors, and members may use them for their own learning only. The member's identity is shown on the video while it plays, and viewing records are kept.

None of the following is allowed: recording video or audio, taking screenshots and sharing them, downloading and passing content on, sharing or lending an account, posting content on any social media, group, cloud drive or video platform, and using it for teaching or resale.

If a leak is suspected, we will first pause the account concerned and ask you to explain. If it is confirmed, we may end the membership without a refund, and we reserve the right to claim damages and take legal action under copyright law.

Digital Art Clinic: every session is recorded, as a record of attendance and service, so you can review it within the viewing period, and to resolve service disputes; you must agree before booking. The recording and the revision videos, images and annotations your instructor provides are copyrighted by the instructor and WeiChen Studio and are for your own reference only; you may not redistribute them or post them on social media, groups or cloud drives. The recording is not made public or used in meetups or promotion unless you separately agree. The work you upload remains yours. If you break this, we may suspend your further use of the clinic and reserve the right to act under copyright law.

Course videos, materials, brushes, images, text, trademarks, and interface designs in this service belong to WeiChen Studio or its licensors and are protected by copyright and related laws. The rights to personal works you complete in the courses remain yours.

When using this service, you agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes others' rights or is unlawful or inappropriate.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Scrape content in bulk with automated programs or otherwise misuse the service.
• Impersonate others or spread false information.

Digital courses and membership content: once payment is confirmed and access is activated, you can watch right away. For digital content provided this way, and on the basis that you agreed before paying, the 7-day cooling-off period does not apply under the reasonable exception to the right of rescission for distance sales in Taiwan's Consumer Protection Act, and refunds are not available once access is activated.

Subscriptions: you can cancel at any time in the member center. After you cancel you will not be charged again and can keep using the service until the end of the current period. Fees already collected for the current period are not refunded.

Exceptions: if a system error stops you from watching, or you are charged twice or the wrong amount, please write to us within 7 days of it happening. We will look at each case and reply as soon as we can.

In-person classes and the clinic: these have their own cancellation and refund rules, as shown on the registration or booking page.

This service is provided “as is”. We do our best to maintain content quality and service stability, but we do not guarantee that learning will achieve any particular result, nor that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for interruptions caused by force majeure or third-party services.

We may adjust, suspend, or terminate part or all of the service for operational reasons, with prior notice where reasonable. If you violate these terms, we may suspend or terminate your account and access without notice.

These terms, and any dispute arising from this service, are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), with the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.

The Chinese version of these terms is authoritative; other language versions are provided for reference only, and in case of any discrepancy the Chinese version prevails.
